Golfing

There are 8 golf courses within a 5-mile radius all available to book on golf now. The golf bunker in Linwood is available to book online perfect for a rainy day. Top Golf – 20-minute drive.

Fishing

3 local fisheries all within 15-minute drive. Day passes for the river Gryffe to fish salmon, sea trout and grayling.

Paint balling

Delta force 5-minute drive away. Clay Pigeon shooting. Xsite – Gravity trampoline park/ crazy golf/ climb zone/ ten pin & Odeon.

Shopping and sightseeing

Braehead/ Silverburn or Glasgow town centre. Loch Lomond Shores and aquarium. Sea plane rides available, and trips on the Waverly.

How can I get in touch?

You can email us on info@lowwoodlodges.co.uk or phone 07725 762034 for general enquiries. For bookings, please use the booking buttons found across the website.

What is the minimum stay?

We have a 2 night stay minimum policy.

What are your check in and check out times?

Check in is at 4pm on your arrival date and check out is at 10am on your departure date.

Do you welcolme dogs?

Yes we welcolme dogs in 2 of our lodges (Ash and Yew).

We have a Β£15 per night per dog charge and a maximum of 2 dogs per lodge.

Do you have an EV charging point and on site parking?

Yes we have 1 EV charging point on site. In the village of Houston there is also 3 charging spaces located at PA6 7HF.

We have onsite private parking, there is enough space for 2 or 3 cars per lodge and an overflow car park should this be required.

Does every lodge have a hot tub and how does it work?

Yes each lodge comes with they’re own wood fired hot tub.

When you arrive at your lodge it will be filled with fresh water and have all the equipment required to get your fire going.

Your hot tub will take 2 to 3 hours to heat up depending on the starting water tempreture (allow more time in winter).

All instructions for lighting your hot tub can be found in your welcolme folder. Should you wish for your hot tub to be pre heated please select this service when booking or contact us on info@lowwoodlodges.co.uk

 

Are your lodges accessible?

Yes our lodges are fully accessible with a large open plan living & dining space making it easy to maneuver around inside. Outside a low gradient ramp entrance.

Each lodge has a fully accessible bathroom complete with walk in shower, shower and toilet seats are available upon request. There is two downstairs bedrooms in every lodge.

What type of coffee machine is there and do you provide pods

Each lodge has a Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine and we include coffee pods. There is also Tea/coffee and sugar as standard in every lodge.
